A: For notarizing the title assignment, the seller must appear before the notary to sign. The buyer doesn’t have to be present if the seller fills in the buyer’s full legal name and address (and any required details like price/odometer). Some bills of sale or lender/title company rules may require both parties—if so, we can schedule a joint appointment. Q: What ID is accepted? A: Government photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.).

Cancellation Policy – Notary of Lewis Center We understand that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be adjusted. However, to respect everyone’s time, we have implemented the following cancellation policy: - Technology fee of $10 will be applied for Remote Online Notary. -If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 1 hour's notice. -No-shows or cancellations made with less than 1 hour's notice will incur a $10.00 fee. -We will send an invoice for the no-show fee to the email address provided at the time of booking.
